Al Barker, American.Al studied environmental science earning both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Forestry. He later received a National Fellowship for Doctoral work. He has exhibited at both the Modern Marine Masters Invitational Exhibit at the Mystic Maritime Gallery, Mystic, CT. Two years ago, he won the prestigious Alden Bryan Memorial Prize at the Salmagundi Club, NYC. Al has won over fifty major awards at premier art competitions throughout the United States. Within the last two years, Al has been invited to participate in various regional Plein-Air Exhibitions and has exhibited continuously since 1970, at the Easton Waterfowl Festival, Easton, Maryland.
