Wayne B. Morrell, American, b. 1923, Clementine, N.J.
Wayne Morrell began painting in 1953, and had such success that he left his career as a commercial designer
to devote his energy to fine arts. Since then he has exhibited his impressionistic works internationally to
great acclaim. He is a member of many artists associations including the American Artists Professional League,
the Hudson Valley Artists, and the Rockport Art Association, to name a few. Morrell is one of a premier group
of American artists who continue the tradition of masters such as Winslow Homer, Edward Redfield,
and George Inness. Morrell currently resides in Rockport, MA.
