
Albert R. Thayer, American. b. Concord, MA, d. 1955.Albert Thayer attended the Boston Museum School and the Art Students League in New York. Thayer studied with Edmund Tarbell, Eric Page, and Aldro Hibbard. He was a gifted etcher as well as oil painter and was a long-standing member of the Rockport Art Association. Thayer exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts as well as at many Rockport Art Association Shows. His work is included in the Museum Collection of the Rockport Art Association and was featured in the traveling exhibition "Images of a New England Seacoast", 1900-1950.
